To keep learning streaks alive during Japan’s end-of-year rush,
Duolingo opened a konbini-inspired pop-up in the heart of Shibuya 渋谷.

We helped concept and design exclusive products created specifically for the drop, using familiar convenience-store cues to turn language learning into a daily habit.

DuoClock

DuoClock helps you practice your target language from

the moment you wake up. To silence the alarm, users must correctly pronounce daily sentences in the language they’re learning. Until the built-in microphone detects perfect pronunciation, Duo keeps ringing. 🤨
